Stoke are set to sign Poland’s highly-rated Euro 2012 defender Sebastian Boenisch.

The left-back has arrived for talks and is set to sign on a free transfer after his contract with Germans Werder Bremen expired.

Boenisch wants to come to the Premier League and has also spoken to West Ham – as well as teams on the continent – but the Potters are poised to pounce.
